About this beauty blog:
My name is Shannon and I have a great love for all types of beauty products. I am a mother of 4 young sons. Without having a daughter to dote on, I decided to start this beauty blog where I can share my love of beauty products with other women like me. A Girl’s Gotta Spa! got it’s start on October 26, 2005.
I never claim to be an expert in the beauty industry and in fact, you will find that this blog is written from a consumer’s point of view. This is a blog where beauty is about relating.
Honesty and integrity are everything and I will only review products I have actually tried. This blog is my own personal blog. Although I am a writer for b5media and Pierce Mattie Public Relations, all opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect the thoughts or opinions of b5media or Pierce Mattie PR and should not be assumed as such.
I also offer great advertising rates through BlogAds. I offer several advertising options; Top Sponsor; Standard, Mini and Classified are also found in the right sidebar slightly down the page. Should you want to place an ad directly, please contact me. I do not accept advertorials or payment for editorial.
Those interested in having a product tested and reviewed and PR firms can contact me direct at productreview (at) agirlsgottaspa (dot com). Please only pitch me skincare, hair care, spa and bath & body products–all other pitches are sent to the trash folder. Some fashion is Ok. Do not pitch me makeup/cosmetics and anything unrelated to this blog.
For general inquiries, you can email me at shannon (at) agirlsgottaspa (dot com).
For advertising inquiries, you can email me at sales (at) agirlsgottaspa (dot com).

Thanks for dropping me a line on my blog. When I saw your GottaSpa URL, I had to tell you this funny TRUE story. I’ll summarize it… my husband (3 kids) decided that our only vacation this summer would be to visit my inlaws for 9 nights. I agreed, on one caveat … that we take a 2 night break, go to Hershey Park (10 roller coasters) and while my husband is with the kids, let me indulge in a chocolate massage, 55 minutes for $125.00. I would rather eat chocolate than anything else in the entire world, so I thought a chocolate massage would be the best!
From one who truly appreciates spa experiences, I thought you would find this humorous.
