This is a question that my husband and family mainly ask me. They don’t understand the concept of blogging, especially when it comes to A Girl’s Gotta Spa.
My main purpose in creating this blog was to get the word out there about Country Bunny Bath & Body products; not just “Hey buy some shea butter,” but also to give some specifics on the ingredients in our products and how they can benefit your skin. My feeling is that most people don’t read the ingredient label on the products they buy. I was like that prior to selling Country Bunny products. It’s when I began reading labels, that I began to understand…”Oh this ingredient will help take care of this skin issue,” and “This ingredient is really bad for your skin,” and so on. I decided to help other women out there understand that as well. This is when I changed the subheading of this blog to “Saving the moisturized impaired one Shea Butter at a time.”
Over the last few months the focus has shifted a little from just products that improve your skin, to personal pampering as well. So I have included product reviews on jewelry, candles, shoes, handbags and makeup. I also had a celebrity makeup artist as a guest blogger for a week. This is something I intend to do more of in the future in combination with still writing about the benefits of using Country Bunny Bath & Body products.
My goals for my blog readers are to give them enjoyable interesting reading, while giving them information they can use in their everyday lives.
I hope I have done this for you loyal readers. If I have–let me know!
