Review: Estee Lauder Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum

I’m at that point in my life where the fine lines and creases are starting to show. If ever there was a time when I could hear my mother’s words reminding me that “If you keep making that face, your face will freeze that way,” it is now. Furrowing my brow which always produced a crease between my eyebrows now seems to have remained permanently. Raising my eyebrows has now resulted in deep wrinkles across my forehead. So as you can imagine, stopping short of Botox itself, I am all for trying various products that help with the anti-aging process and minimizing of these ungodly wrinkles.

Estee Lauder’s Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum is unlike any other serum I have tried before. It literally feels like you are applying liquid powder to your face. It goes on so smoothly, has no hint of oil or a greasy texture and makes your skin feel ridiculously soft like velvet. It literally felt as if as soon as I applied it, that it was just as quickly absorbed into my skin.

This serum is good for all skin types and is geared to increase collagen production, something that typically slows down with age. It reduces the look of wrinkles and lessens the look of the deeper creases in places like your forehead and around your nose and mouth. This serum is one that you apply under your usual moisturizer, but I honestly wish there was a duplicate moisturizer that felt just as good on my skin to pair it with.

This product is worth it’s weight in gold, and reviewing as many products as I do, I can tell you that this is another favorite to add to my list. www.esteelauder.com

I need to get some of this!!! There are so many “promise” creams & serums out there now – it’s nice to hear when one is worth the money. Thanks

I’m new to Estee Lauder but always intrigued by their packaging. The bottles just look so nice. Have you compiled a complete list of all your favorites yet? I’d love to know.

I am using Estee Lauder products for a couple of years now. The advanced night repair serum is great and so is the Idealist.
I have just started with the Pefectionist, the feeling is great.

Sounds wonderfully indulgent — But, forehead wrinkles are caused my muscle movement and are “dynamic” wrinkles — no amount of any surface potion will eliminate them. They might look better (i.e. softer) temporarily, but any quality moisturizer can do that. A good sunblock (every single day) is a better investment, IMO.

I would really like to try this product, but I wonder if it is better to start using it at my age, or if I should just use a great moisturizer ( I am 25), but I am starting to see laugh lines!

Jennifer, prevention is always key! That’s why it’s called “anti-aging” LOL Just make sure to keep up on your skin care routine daily and you should be good!

We received a sample of this at Belk dept. store and it is silky, goes on nice but I didn’t use it long enough to notice a real change in my skin. Perhaps I need to break down and buy some! lol

Lol Anna! Wait til you are my age – 44! I have no wrinkles around my eyes or lips but they are on my forehead and between my brows and drive me BONKERS! I wear bangs so nobody really sees them but I know they are there and I hate them!

Shannon, and Tina, I remember my grandmother saying those words also, If you keep making that face, your face is going to stay that way. LOL I never thought of it until I noticed the rinkles between my eyes. I never wore shades , so, when I go outside I skwint my eyes. i have learned my mistake. So, I always catching my self squinting and try to stop. Why do we have to get creases and wrinkles?

$55.00–$125.00 is what this will run you. I actualy thought it would cost more. A little pricey for me. But then again I do not know much about them.

I bought this recently at the Estee Lauder counter and I love it! I use it morning and night. It makes my skin like velvet and yes, you can soften lines with creams and serums, proper sleep and NUMBER ONE, Ladies, Wear your Sun block EVERY DAY!! Stay out of the sun, do not lay out or go tanning and do whatever you can to protect your skin from the sun. It is the number one cause of wrinkles, aging, age spots, etc. I am 39 and everyone thinks i am younger because i haven’t intentionally tanned my skin in years. Yes, i’m light and yes, tanned legs and body look great but at my 20 year reunion the girls who had been tanning for years were very wrinkled!! It is VERY important to become aware of holding stress in your face, learn to relax those muscles and no squinting or furrowing your brow. No frowning all the time. Drink water, rest, relax your body and face, and stay out of the sun/wear sunscreen!
