I wholly admit that I am a junk food fanatic…or to put a more polished spin on it, a “dessert connoisseur.” This, of course, is much to the demise of my hopes of going back to my pre-pregnancy weight (ala 4 kids ago). So when I came across Dream Bar Soap, I gleefully looked at each product in amazement. Cupcake soaps? Donut soaps? Chocolate chip cookie soaps? I am in dessert heaven. I mean, bath and body heaven.
Strawberry Donut: I cannot even begin to tell you how realistic the strawberry frosting smells. It is insanely out of this world. You can honestly close your ideas and imagine yourself in a strawberry patch biting into a ripe red strawberry. The donut smells so lifelike, that I would warn you to only allow children old enough to know that this is not food, to wash with it. And my kids did (gleefully) wash with the donut soap and they were overheard giggling over the idea of washing with a donut. Of course, I used it as well and loved not only how it smelled, because it was really fragrant, but how it softened my skin and left behind a light strawberry scent.
Chocolate Chip Cookies:You get 5 cookies that look good enough to eat. They smell like vanilla with some chocolate undertones. The cookies soaps also made my skin feel great and the boys had a blast washing up with them too. Imagine having these in your soap dish? Your guests will think you are cheating on your diet by hiding cookies in the bathroom.
Other treats you should pay attention to? The Chocolate Bundt Cake, Swedish Cinnamon Buns and the Gingerbread Cookies. You absolutely will not be disappointed. This is one indie brand that I have a feeling will get a cult following in no time! www.dreambarsoap.com
