Review: Whiter Image TOGO Whitening Pen

whiter_image_togo_teeth_whitening_penWe all want whiter teeth, but sometimes time is of the essence and popping in the whitening trays just isn’t a viable option. Sometimes a little convenience isn’t too much to ask especially in a world where multi-tasking is everything. So my teeth whitening friends, Whiter Image has a whitening pen that is meant to take with you on the go, to whiten up anytime, anywhere without anyone knowing.

The TOGO Whitening Pen comes in a small aluminum case with an applicator that is similar to a Stila lip gloss. You twist the bottom of the case and a clear gel emerges through the brush-on applicator. Upon first use you will have to twist the applicator a good 25+ times as it pushes the gel to the top of the pen. Future uses only need 1-2 twists. Although the description says it has a mint flavor, I didn’t find that mine did. It tasted like the typical tooth whitener usually does.

As you apply the gel on your teeth you’ll notice teenie tiny bubbles and different parts of the enamel on your teeth will begin to whiten. Don’t close your mouth for about 20-30 seconds to allow the gel to work its magic (and also dry.) With other whiteners I’ve used before I would feel a weird tingling sensation in my teeth, but not with the Whitening Pen. Repeated use also didn’t cause any further sensitivity.  My teeth definitely looked whiter.

    I had wondered if this worked well. Most of the time whiteners have such a nasty taste, so I always expect them to be bad. I really need to pick one of these up, since I finally have room for it in my purse :)

    Have you tried the GoSmile To Go whitening tubes. I took one with me to my brother’s wedding and used it right before all the wedding photos. It worked pretty well and had a nice minty taste.

    I work at a tanning and skin rejuvination salon we have both the whitening pens and the led application. We have had amazing results with the to go pen. Any client who has bought it has fell in love with it. I personally bought it and I love it as well. So worth the money!

    The pens are just a mild solution of the pre filled whitening tray you use when doing an led treatment. An acutal teeth whitening session works much better to open up the pores in your teeth and whiten them. However the pens are great for in between uses/ touch ups/ as well as testing out the product before you invest in a treatment!! I love whiter image!
