Spring Makeup Tips from shu uemura’s Makeup Artist Jason Hoffman

shu_uemura_jason_hoffmanI recently asked shu uemura’s Principal Makeup Artist, Jason Hoffman, how to achieve a great spring makeup look using their products. See what he had to say below:

It’s so easy to get inspiration for a new look for spring because nature will give you everything you need! The skin should look fresh and healthy. Note that doesn’t necessarily mean tan. Fair skin can have a soft flushed look that is gorgeous. Try using the stain from shu’s Mirage Lip Duo as a cream blush and lip stain. This gives you that “just in from the sun” glow that is perfect for spring. For a more sun kissed look, follow with a dusting of Warm Bronzing Powder all over. Keep the eyes soft yet defined. The Utopia Shadow Palette is a perfect wash of green and blue. Line the upper lash line with black liquid liner (keeping it thin) and smudge the Lilac Drawing Pencil into the lower lash line. Do something fresh and unexpected on the lips. Top the lip stain with Gloss Unlimited 325N from shu uemura’s Pink Collection.

All products mentioned can be found at www.shuuemura-usa.com
