Makeup I Would Wear if I Were Adam Lambert

adam_lambertI admit, I only jumped on the Adam Lambert bandwagon a few episodes shy of the end of American Idol last season.  I remember it was the episode where he looked like a young Chris Isaac. For some reason Adam made guyliner hot.  And after finally caving in and getting his CD this weekend, it’s obvious that Glambert has some serious love for makeup as inspired by his 80′s glam predecessors (Poison, Warrant, Dokken–oh yeah I know them all because I was quite the pseudo-metal head.)

So if I were given the magical ability to be Adam Lambert for one day, here’s the beauty products I’d be sporting: 

Nail Polish: Zoya Nail Polish’s “Casey” or Lancome’s Le Vernis in “Untamed Plum.”

Brows: Anastasia’s Brow Pen (LOVE this for myself) or Laura Mercier’s Eyebrow Pencil

Hair Care: Redken aerate 08 Bodifying Cream-Mousse and/or Pureology NanoWax

Mascara: L’Oreal Bare Naturale Luminous Mascara or shu uemera Mascara Basic

Eyeliner: Benefit Cosmetics BADgal Waterproof Liner or Illamasqua Eye Liner Cake in Danger

Lastly for his lips I would say Skincando’s Combat Ready Lip Balm (this is for guys not girls) because it will give him some healthy looking lips without being too glossy. Although, I guess when you have a face full of makeup, no one really cares whether you are glossing it up or not.

I’m intentionally leaving eyeshadow, foundation and blush blank…what would you wear if you were Adam Lambert?

    Glitter, glitter and more glitter. Don’t forget a glitter coat of nail polish too.

    He’s also a fan of the MAC kohl eye pencil.

    If you like Adam’s make up choices, check out Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel…especially at the 2009 MTV EMAs
    (Adam also has a not so secret crush on him :P )
