Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

westlake-logoWestlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery is a leading provider of skin care with 5 locations in Austin and Central Texas, specializing in all treatments related to skin care and body contouring such as a full range of medical treatments, plastic surgery, lasers, and injectables, as well as allergy and immunology treatments. (They have a 6th location opening at the Four Seasons Residences Tower in Austin this July.)

Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery is the team behind the popular beauty store, iderma.com where you can shop for brand name skin care, hair care and makeup products from companies like HydroPeptide (who I’ve reviewed before), Jan Marini, Obagi and more.

They also offer spa services such as facials, cosmetic peels, eyelash extensions, skin lightening and DiamondTome (similar to microdermabrasion, but without the loose crystals.) One of their newest facials is called Fire and Ice. Fire and Ice is an intensive facial designed to rapidly and safely resurface the skin with a combination of active and soothing ingredients. The benefits of the treatment are similar to that of a subtle chemical peel – reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, cellular renewal, and smoother, tighter skin. With the aromas of warm cinnamon spice and cool peppermint, Fire and Ice combines two therapeutic masques: the powerful Intensive Resurfacing Masque which contains 18% glycolic acid and retinol, and the soothing Rejuvenating Masque that contains skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and soothing aloe vera. The Fire and Ice Facial is a top choice for celebrities who want to get their face “red carpet ready”.
