Zoya, my all-time favorite brand of nail polish teamed up with Birchbox and several bloggers to create the Blogger Collection, three exclusive limited edition nail polish shades. First, each blogger made a mood board capturing her favorite spring/summer colors. Next, Birchbox Facebook fans were asked to vote for the top three boards, which the polish experts at Zoya used to custom-design this stunning trio. Kate is a pinkish grapefruit that comes courtesy of The Small Things. Eleventh Gorgeous created Coraline, a warm juicy tangerine. Capitol Hill Style is the force behind Belle, a coppery pink which features microscopic bits of iridescent glitter. They are ALL gorgeous and right on trend for summer!
Each of these limited edition polishes is made with a sheer, buildable jelly formula, which can be worn sheer or layered to create a more vibrant effect. I needed three coats of Coraline and Belle to get the opaque coverage I like. However, if you prefer a sheer look, two coats will work just as well. Jellies almost look “watery” and have a more translucent finish than regular polish with high shine. They take longer to dry between coats but also tend to last longer, and some say resist chipping better than a regular polish. These wear like iron!
As with all Zoya polishes, they’re free of harmful ingredients like toluene, formaldehyde, DBP, and camphor and last about 50 percent longer than other brands. I love these fun vibrant shades for summer nails!
The Birchbox/Zoya Blogger Collection can be purchased for $22 and free shipping at birchbox.com Which shade is your favorite?
