This shower gel has a spearmint scent, along with spearmint and menthol crystals to impart a cool feeling while in a hot shower. I love to use it after a sweaty workout, it makes me feel clean without stripping my skin of moisture. I’m usually not fond of spearmint or menthol but the tingly sensation is not overly strong and leaves me feeling refreshed and wide awake.
Dirty Springwash boasts bicarbonate of soda as one of its ingredients, which apparently helps soften hard water and deodorize. The gel lathers well, which is typical of LUSH shower gels and lingers slightly on the skin.
Being somewhat of a girly girl, I’m surprised that I like this as much as I do. I probably won’t use it everyday but after working in the yard, a good workout or anytime I feel especially dirty or sweaty, Dirty Springwash is my choice to feel clean and refreshed–manly yes, but I like it too!
