emerginC Aromatic Cream Tea Cleanser Review

emerginC is a new line for me and I’m happy I discovered it.  The brand prides itself on offering a full line of active, result-oriented products containing a wide variety of pure, potent botanicals and fruit acids, as well as cutting edge medical and cosmeceutical-grade ingredients.

All of emerginC products are paraben-free, free of artificial colors and fragrances, and they do not test on animals or use animal ingredients. In addition, their product boxes are printed on Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified paperboard, printed with non-toxic vegetable-based inks. They are also a proud compact signer at safecosmetics.org. This is brand I can get behind!

I tried the aromatic cream tea cleanser ($37), a gentle, creamy cleanser made with three tea extracts. This pink cleanser is rich, thick and very gentle making it great for sensitive  or very dry skin. Your skin will NOT feel dry and tight after using this cleanser! I found it to be a little too rich for my combination skin, but I must say it felt very soothing and indulgent. The soothing and calming effect is courtesy of matricaria and the antioxidant properties of green tea, white tea and red tea. It also contains hibiscus to calm, soothe and help with microcirculation. I performed my cleansing test to see if it was strong enough to get all my makeup off. I used my DDF 10% Glycolic toner after cleansing with emerginC Aromatic Cream Tea Cleanser to see if there was any residual makeup and I’m happy to say my cotton pad was free of makeup–this cleanser passed the test!

Packaging is a pump bottle making to easy to use, there is a slight scent that is pleasant and spa-like. In fact, you will find the emerginC Aromatic Cream Tea Cleanser in exclusive spas like Mirval, Tucson, Arizona; Qua at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Spa at Wynn Las Vegas; and the Carneros Inn and Spa in the Napa Valley. It retails for $37 and can be purchases at emerginc.com.

Bottom Line: this cleanser is gentle, hydrating, soothing and feels like a visit to the spa. It is ideal for dry or sensitive skin. Have you tried it?
