Part of the new LORAC Pro Collection this fall, LORAC Pro Powder Cheek Stain ($20) is a new blush that promises 12 hours of wear.
These beautiful blushes pack a real color punch! They are VERY pigmented so go easy when applying. I would suggest using a skunk or fan brush to diffuse the color a bit–especially for us fair beauties. I didn’t get quite 12 hours of wear, but a good 10 and that works for me!! I think even on oily skin you should be able to get at least eight hours of wear. In fact, these are SO long lasting ‘stain’ is an appropriate description. I find some gel or liquid stains hard to blend, but that is the beauty of these stains–they are powder so they blend easily and evenly. You get the intensity of a stain with the flexibility of a powder–it’s genius I tell you!
There are six available: Petal Pink, Rosy Glow, Ruby Rouge, Plum Passion and Coral Crush. If you’ve been reading Prime Beauty for more than three weeks, you know what my favorite is! Coral Crush is not matte, not shimmery, not glittery. What is it then? It has the most beautiful sheen that gives cheeks a lovely glow. Coral Crush is a bright pink coral that really brightens the face. It has an uncanny resemblance to NARS Orgasm, but Coral Crush is actually wearable and doesn’t look like a disco ball threw up on you. Plum Passion looks scary purple in the pan but with a light hand applies as a very wearable plum with a hint of pink. The texture is exceptional. The powder is very finely milled, feeling more like a cream or cream-to-powder blush.
LORAC Pro Powder Cheek Stains are chock full of skincare benefits as well, such as antioxidants of vitamins A, C, E, pomegranate, green tea, white tea, grape seed extracts and aloe. The use of hyaluronic acid in the formula to help keep skin hydrated. It is also free of: Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan.
LORAC Pro Powder Cheek Stains retail for $20 and can be purchased at Sephora, Sephora.com and loraccosmetics.com
