Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review – Give Your Skin a Moisture Boost!

Now that fall is upon us, the moisture has already begun to drain from my skin. I had a facial last week and the facialist told me my skin was “dehydrated!”

Good thing I knew exactly where to turn to give my skin the drink of water it desperately needs! Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a must-have for anyone with dry skin–from the most sensitive dry skin to the dry-as-the-Sahara-desert skin.

Reviva Labs is a no-frills skincare company with products that have scientifically proven formulas and are extremely effective. It’s a personal favorite of mine. They have now compounded a higher level of premium Hyaluronic Acid into a precious fluid that can help raise skin’s moisture level to fill-in furrows, plump up tissues and tone-down lines. Apply under creams in the evening or alone to hydrate skin. If also seeking firmness, alternate with our DMAE Firming Fluid. Benefits: Unlike products that depend on moisture in the air, HA can help hydrate skin even in dry climates or heated rooms that rob skin of moisture.

*Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in body. Its function in the body is, amongst other things, to bind water and to lubricate movable parts of the body, such as joints and muscles. Its consistency and tissue-friendliness allows it to be beneficial in skin-care products as an excellent moisturizer. Because HA is one of the most hydrophilic (water-loving) molecules in nature with numerous benefits for the human body it can be described as “nature’s moisturizer”. Although Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can be found naturally in most every cell in the body, it is found in the greatest concentrations in the skin tissue. Almost 50% of the bodies HA is found here. It is found in both the deep underlying dermal areas as well as the visible epidermal top layers.

ALL skin types need hydration and HA is the best way to get it.  Hyaluronic acid provides continuous moisture to the skin and can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water!  What this means for you is healthy, moisturized, firmer looking skin. This highly concentrated serum plumps up fine lines and helps the skin retain it’s natural moisture balance. As we age, the ability of our skin to produce HA decreases, making HA a MUST for over 40 women.

This serum is housed in a convenient pump and has a gel-like texture that absorbs instantly leaving NO greasy residue–it is also fragrance-free. During my facial last week I was given a enzyme peel. A few days later my skin got so dry it was flaking, especially on my cheekbones, forehead, and around my nose. I think the peel was applied thicker in those areas as my skin was not supposed to peel. After a few nights using Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum, my skin is back to normal! Seriously, it only took three nights of using the serum to see results–I was amazed when the flakiness was gone so soon. Win!

Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum is not only highly effective, but it’s reasonably priced too!  A 1 oz. bottle is only $22. You need only the smallest amount (less than one pump) for your entire face and neck. I should mention that Reviva Labs products are also sold at Whole Foods and many national health food stores as well as online at revivalabs.com

Bottom Line: this is a highly effective, reasonably priced way to bring the moisture back into your skin. I never want to be without it!

HA is the active ingredient in Restylane, which is a dermal filler (for plumping up skin to decrease laugh lines, etc.). A doc told me the same thing about it drawing moisture to it, even from within the body. And it’s a natural ingredient, as you mentioned, already within our cells.
