LORAC’s Holiday Collection has a candy/sweets theme. One of the jewels of this collection is the Sweet Temptations  Lip Gloss Set ($25). The collection includes six full sized lip glosses with the sweet treat theme:

• Pumpkin Spice (coral)
• Butterscotch (pale peach)
• Créme Brulée (light pink)
• Cotton Candy (medium pink)
• Frosted Gumdrop (bright pink)
• Candy Apple (warm red)

Each of the glosses have the taste and scent of their name–such a fun added bonus! These sweet, hydrating glosses are infused with antioxidants like acai berry, pomegranate, grape seed, and vitamins C and E to help nourish and protect your lips. These high shine, shimmery shades range from nude peach, to pinks to candy apple red. I do wish the shade range was a little more diverse–there are an awful lot of pinks in the collection. The lighter shades don’t have as much opacity to them as Frosted Gumdrop and Candy Apple. Candy Apple is a lovely warm red that is perfect for the holidays and Frosted Gumdrop is a bright pink that would be ideal for Christmas Eve celebrations. 

You may notice a bit of a grainy texture due to the micro-glitter, but it isn’t enough to be bothersome. There is also a slight stickiness, but that makes them last longer and is a trade off you will always find with longer lasting glosses. The glosses have a brush applicator which I think makes them apply smoother.

The packaging is absolutely adorable. The box is inspired by a box of chocolates and the glosses themselves have a beautiful “diamond” encrusted lid.

Bottom Line:  LORAC’s Sweet Temptations Lip Gloss Collection is one of the best gloss sets to come around this holiday season. At only $25 for 6 pretty and sparkling glosses and the whimsical packaging, the set makes a fantastic gift–if you can stand to give it yup!
