Pixi Nail Color in Classy Cocoa Review

My latest foray into my local Target had me fixated on the Pixi display. My Target has just completed a major remodel and the beauty department is bigger–score! Although the Pixi display wasn’t fully stocked, I did spy this gorgeous fall nail color in Classy Cocoa ($8).

Classy Cocoa is a chameleon. In the store it looked like a purple with a fine gold shimmer, once I got it in my nails it resembled more of  it’s namesake–a cocoa color. In certain light it can flash from a purpely taupe to dark chocolate. No matter what the color it changes to, they are all beautiful and classy like the name implies. Most brown polished and I don’t get along, but the plum undertone in this polish adds a nice dimension and complexity that also makes it easier to wear for all skin tones.

This was my first Pixi nail polish and color me impressed! I got great wear–this is 2 coats.

Classy Cocoa is part of the Fall 2012 Nail Color Collection. The other shades are Evening Emerald and Amazing Amethyst–both luscious festive colors! I want them both.

Pixi Cosmetics can be found at Target and the Pixi website.  I can’t wait until my Target gets the rest of the Pixi inventory, I’m looking forward to trying more things from the brand.
