Cherlyn Skincare Review

There is a new natural skincare company out of Canada that lists ALL of their ingredients on their products, something an educated consumer like myself tends to look to first before reading the hype about a product.

Cherlyn Skincare is a 100% natural skincare brand that has a very simple 3-step system. It includes a Purifying Cleanser, Clarifying Serum and Bio-Restore Cream. Products can be purchased individually or as a complete system (which will also earn you a sample of the Day Cream for free.) The above image shows sample size and not the actual size of the products. The actual bottles have much sleeker packaging and are larger in size.

Now I always recommend using a toner, so why is it OK to do without one in this skincare system? According to the website, the Cherlyn Purifying Cleanser has a natural pH balance of 5.0 to 6.5. It cleanses the skin effectively without leaving a chemical residue or changing the skin’s pH to alkaline.

The Purifying Cleanser, which contains Malic and Tartaric Acid, has a citrus scent and a very thin, silky texture. The Clarifying Serum has Alpha-Hydroxy Acids from Bilberry and has more of a watery consistency. This made it easier to apply to my entire face without having to pump out much product. The Bio-Restore Cream has Beta Hydroxy Acid from Willow Bark  and has a very light scent. I love that between the serum and cream, your skin is being infused with AHA’s and BHA’s.

I used all 3 products for a month for this review and found that during the entire review process, I never once had a blemish emerge (a first!), that my skin appeared more balanced and not as oily as it usually is, and have an overall healthy appearance to it.
