Usually when you head to the salon you know one thing for sure – you’re going to get into great shape. Nail shape, that is.

STILETTOS

There is something about a professional taking you by the hands and providing great care and cleanup without the need to be ambidextrous. Also, a fresh pair of eyes on your hands might lead you to see you could use a little refresher in areas like shape, color or product.

If you can’t quite shake the same look you’ve had for eons, I’d like to share an article I wrote for Nails Magazine (Jan 2013). Although this is a professional publication, and the writing geared toward helping manicurists guide clients to new looks, I think it is also helpful for a anyone to get into the mindset for trying out a new trend.
