Simple Skincare is a brand that has been popular in the UK for quite some time and has recently come here to the states. The brand offers a whole line of skincare products including cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye care, makeup remover and remover wipes. The Simple Skincare philosophy is to make skincare products to be just that, simple for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
“Simple has no dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants that can upset your skin. Instead, just our purest possible skin loving ingredients with added vitamins, for natural healthy-looking skin. Offering a skincare range suitable for all skin types – especially sensitive skin – Simple has helped generations of women look and feel beautiful.“
I was excited to try the Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On ($10.99) because as I’ve gotten older, I have developed pesky bags under my eyes. In fact, I tease and say I don’t just have bags, but a whole set of luggage. Between my real job and my blog, I am also in front of a computer for anywhere from 11-13 hours a day and needless to say, my eyes get very tired.
This eye roller is formulated with cucumber extract to refresh and revitalize and glycerin to hydrate and nourish along with PRO-VITAMIN B5 known to help restore, soften and smooth. It has no dyes, no artificial perfumes and no harsh irritants. It is Dermatologist tested, Ophthalmologist tested, safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, Hypoallergenic and Noncomedogenic.
To be clear, the roller is supposed to refresh tired eyes and reduce puffiness, NOT take of care dark circles. The metal roller along with the gel feels very cool and soothing to my under eye area. I roll on the gel in a circular motion pressing down with the roller slightly to reduce inflammation and then pat in any excess. The cooling feeling last just a few minutes.
Honestly, I was disappointed in the Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On. While it feels nice, it makes little to no difference in reducing puffiness and that’s what I really need help with.
Simple Skincare products can be found at Target, Walmart, Ulta and drugstore.com.
Bottom Line: If you are only looking to refresh tired eyes, the Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On will work fine, If however, you are looking to actually reduce puffiness, I’ll stick with my Clinique All About Eyes De-Puffing Serum. Stay tuned though, I will be reviewing more Simple Skincare and have high hopes!

I have not tried any of the Clinique line, so I might give them a go when I have some spare change next time I’m in Macy’s. Thanks for the recommendation.
