MAKE is the first for-benefit color cosmetics line launching on WeSeeBeauty.com – a for-benefit marketplace of ideas, stories and products that support cooperatives. One-third of all MAKE product sales will support the non-profit organization, the We See Beauty Foundation, dedicated to incubate and accelerate women-led, worker owned cooperatives.
MAKE Cosmetics are absolutely brilliant. There are many different colors for the lips, eyes and cheeks which are all beautifully and brightly made. The makeup I tested lasted all day, didn’t crease or smudge and was very easy to apply and there are tons of different beautiful makeup applications to choose from. I choose (4019) Cast Iron Matte Finish Shadow, (6006 Limoges Pink Matte Finish Blush, and (5012) Magnolia Silk Lipstick. These colors looked absolutely stunning together and could be worn for a day or night time look.
I applied Limoges Pink to the cheek bone in an upward motion and only from the arch of the brow to the end of the brow. It looked very natural and gave my cheeks the appropriate color they needed. The blush lasted all day and looked gorgeous. This shade is mainly for lighter skin.
I applied Cast Iron along the crease of my eye, but not the whole crease – only from a little past the arch of the brow to the end of the brow, leaving space for the highlighter, which goes directly under the brow. I then applied a light shimmery skin-toned shadow to the lid, lined my eye with a liquid liner and finished with my favorite mascara. Cast Iron never creased and lasted all day. It is definitely one of my most favorite eye colors to use in the crease of my eye.
At first sight, I wasn’t sure the lipstick in Magnolia was going to be a color that would suit my skin coloring, but I wanted to try something a little outside the box for me and ended up loving it. Never be afraid of a little color! It lasted for a good amount of time without having to reapply, it was true to color and moisturized my lips. It’s a beautiful color for this up and coming Spring season.
Have you tried anything from MAKE? I’d love to hear it in the comments!
