Colgate Optic White Review

With the new bright lipsticks for spring and summer you want your smile to be bright and white too. A bright lip with a yellow smile is not attractive. Now whitening has been made quick and easy–no trays, strips or tons of dollars spent with new products from Colgate® Optic White®. In fact, clinical studies show the Optic White regimen starts whitening in 5 days!

I’ve been on this regimen for about a week now and I CAN notice a difference! I’m actually amazed at how well these products work! I’ve been using all three of these products:

Colgate® 360 Optic White® Manual Toothbrush ($4.49) -  this toothbrush helps whiten teeth by removing surface stains with rubber “cups” that hold the toothpaste in place along with polishing bristles to clean hard-to-reach areas. I do have to say this is my least favorite product of the three. I have a sensitive mouth (who’d have thunk) and the bristles are a little too stiff for me. If you’re mouth is not sensitive, it will probably be fine for you. I will say the ‘cups’ absolutely do hold the toothpaste in place so it doesn’t slide off the brush.

Colgate® Optic White® Dual Action Toothpaste ($4.29) – this polishing toothpaste whitens more than three shades! It also delivers a brilliant shine with 30% higher change in the gloss of teeth compared to other competitive toothpastes in lab testing! I like that it foams instead of feeling all thick and gloppy. It also has a gentle mint taste that’s not overpowering.

Colgate® Optic White® Mouthwash ($2.99-7.29) – I think the toothpaste combined with this mouthwash is what does the trick! It’s very strong! It’s a good thing you only have to swish it around your mouth for 60 seconds because I couldn’t stand any longer. However, it gives my mouth a dentist-like clean feeling and it really works to whiten.

This Colgate® regimen has really made a difference in my smile! I’m a tea drinker so my teeth stain easily and I can tell after only one week that they are lighter. I don’t know how many shades lighter, but I can tell and I’m not that observant so that’s a testament to the effectiveness of these products!

Colgate products can be found at mass retailers and grocery stores nationwide.

So go ahead and wear those bright lips with confidence AND Colgate Optic White!

Thanks for this introduction. Do you know if this Colgate toothpaste is known for any side effects like sensitive teeth? I would like to find one which is effective but doesn’t cause me pain ;) unfortunately I was not successful so far…

This one is not specifically formulated for sensitive teeth. For that, I would recommend the new Crest Pro Health For Life 50+
