Goat Milk Stuff

Goat Milk Stuff Soap #review

Black Raspberry, Almond, Purify and Chocolate

I come from a large family. My mom is one of 8 children, and her mother and father came from a large family too. My sister has 7 children, my brother and I each have 4 kids. To say family cohesiveness is a highly held value in my family, would be an understatement. So I am often inspired by family run businesses, such as Goat Milk Stuff.

PJ and Jim Jonas, along with their 8 children, run a very successful bath and body brand built upon family and faith, as well as PJ’s desire to use chemical-free products on her children’s skin. Goat Milk Stuff began with just one bar of soap and has now grown into lip balms, scrubs, lotions, deodorants and even candles.

When my package of Goat Milk Stuff arrived, the delicious fragrance filled the air – and that was before even opening the box! Now, I’m used to getting packages on a regular basis, but this was the first time that all of my sons asked me what was in the box and could they smell each of the soaps. My son Connor exclaimed, “I call dibs on the lip balm!” and swiped it from my hands. I knew right then that I was holding something magical because it would mean my boys would actually want to shower without me telling them to. Priceless!

Each of the soaps pictured above smells incredible. Black Raspberry has a sweet raspberry fragrance, Almond (an essential oil soap) reminds me of a milk and honey scent, Purity (for very sensitive skin) is very clean and Chocolate smells like hot cocoa. Each soap is gentle, literally glides across your skin so smoothly and makes your skin feel so good.

The lip balms, in Vanilla and Honey, are comprised of soybean oil, beeswax, sunflower oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, Vitamin E and flavor oil. They also have another version, for those who may be allergic to soy, which contains avocado oil in it. Connor said the Vanilla also smelled of cinnamon to him; he really liked how it felt on his chapped lips. Thankfully, no one took the other lip balm from me, so I had the chance to try the Honey, it is soothing and has a delicious scent (and taste!)

Aside from Goat Milk Stuff rocking my world with amazing bath and body products, I absolutely loved how in-depth their website was and the personality behind it. On their About page, each child’s name is linked to their own page with a video telling you more about each family member. It truly makes you feel good about ordering from this brand. I also loved that when I read the ingredients on the lip balm and saw there was no goat milk involved, they already had a page answering the question as to why (see: Where’s the Goat Milk?)

I love this stuff and you will too.
