RickyColor Disco Sticks Lip Gloss Review

Ricky's NYC Disco Sticks Lip Gloss #review #makeup

As an avid lip gloss fan, I’m not so fanatical of the sometimes messy or tacky application. I do so love the smooth texture and shine, though.

Popular beauty store, Ricky’s NYC, has pretty lip gloss in a crayon that still provides the hydrating texture and shine I adore without any mess or fuss. At first look I was a little nervous about the colors since I am super fair skinned and all, but they do not apply dark at all. They provide more of a sheer look with a pretty pop of color to your lips.

Ricky's NYC Disco Sticks #swatches

Disco Sticks come in a set of 5 for $20 and include:

-Twilo, creamy brown
-Crobar, glam bright pink
-Roseland, romantic red
-Roxy, vampy violet
-Marquee, soft nude

As you can see from the swatches, they have a slight shimmer to them and are perfect for a Spring/Summer makeup look. The Disco Sticks don’t require sharpening and simply twist up in the tube. Like most glosses, the color doesn’t last too long, however I found that they adhered well to Urban Decay’s Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone and have more staying power when used together.

Have you tried them?
