Right now my hair looks and feels dry, lackluster and just downright sad. I know that I could've taken better care of my hair, but sometimes it's much too easy to neglect my hair care routine and just disguise less than stellar hair with a cute braid or bun. Agreed?

I'm always on the lookout for a BB or CC cream that not only matches my skin tone but also has SPF 20 and over, covers without feeling heavy or oily, helps to reduce the size of my pores and gives me a little glow. My skin could be described as medium to Read more
I am a fan of all natural skincare products and I try to use ones with organic based ingredients in my daily cleansing regime. I am always searching for an excellent milky cleanser that goes on quickly and gets the job done without drying my skin. I recently found the Buttermilk Cleanser from Organic Apoteke and I am hooked. The cleanser has the faint scent of roses (Damask rose oil) and the silky smooth texture is pure luxury. I often cleanse my face with the Buttermilk Cleanser in the late afternoon when I need a little pick-me-up. It leaves me feeling refreshed and ready for an evening out. My face feels amazingly clean and smooth afterwards and most traces of makeup are removed. I do need to use a bit of Shu Uemura cleansing oil to remove my mascara though.

I went to see a runway show sponsored by Oral B at Hatchette’s Style360 that featured Caravan boutique looks from designers such as Rich & Skinny, Tart, Maxey, Bobi and was hosted by Maria Menounos. While there I spotted Chris Noth (he sat directly across from me!), Shanae Grimes from 90210 and Teresa from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
New York Fashion Week isn’t only about fashion, of course! I had the chance to stop into CVS’ Reinventing Beauty suite, aka Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory, between events. Cristophe (yes that Cristophe!) styled my hair, Jake Bailey showed me how guy’s can wear concealer to freshen up their look (without looking like they are wearing makeup) and then I snagged an interview with Robert Verdi!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of going backstage at the Chris Benz fashion show to talk with him and Daniel Martin regarding their collaboration for Lancome‘s 5th lipstick in their POUT-A-PORTER series aptly named “Chris & Tell.” This coral colored lipstick will be available Spring 2010, but Lancome is already accepting names for the waiting list at their upper west side boutique.
