Cleansers for Natural, Textured, Curly Hair

Right now my hair looks and feels dry, lackluster and just downright sad. I know that I could've taken better care of my hair, but sometimes it's much too easy to neglect my hair care routine and just disguise less than stellar hair with a cute braid or bun. Agreed? I Read more

Review: Freeman Bare Foot Creamy Pumice Foot Scrub

iconiconGuest review from beauty blogger Blaq Vixen Beauty:

Sometimes, when I want to use a different scrub on my feet besides award-winning Olay Thermal Pedicure Foot Treatment, I turn to Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint and Plum Creamy Pumice Foot Scrub, $3.99. I’ve actually been using this before Olay came out with their foot treatment.

It was only last year that I started to get regular pedicures. While my feet are in good shape, I’ve been hooked on buying scrubs for the feet and body. I’ll admit that Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint and Plum Creamy Pumice Foot Scrub isn’t as hardcore as Olay Thermal Pedicure Foot Treatment by itself. However, squeeze a lavish amount on a foot pumice and scrub away! It also works well with exfoliating gloves or a loofah… Read more

Review: Stila Mango Crush Lip and Cheek Stain

stila-mango-crushGuest review from beauty blogger Beauty Girl Musings.

Stila Mango Crush Lip & Cheek Stain has become my latest Summer beauty crush, and I think you’ll discover the same when you decide to try it for yourself– trust me, this is a must-have!

A little confession: I’m a full-face makeup girl (primer, foundation, powder, blush, multiple eye shadows, liner, mascara– you get the idea). Ok, confession time is over– moving on… Read more

Review: Sephora’s Guava Passion Body Scrub

Guest beauty review from beauty blogger I Heart Heels.

This summer, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been “showering” myself with all kinds of beachy scents that smell absolutely amazing. The beach is quite possibly my favorite spot in the world to just sit, relax and think about life. Lately, I’ve been finding myself retreating to the Bahamas or some far away island in the tropics only to snap back to Earth quickly and realize I’ve almost used all of my precious new body wash, ha!

The latest on my summer must-have list is Sephora’s (my go-to beauty store) Guava Passion Body Scrub ($8). The scrub is new to the collection and over the past few weeks has left my skin soft as can be (after all, it does have Aloe Vera and JoJoba!) So what makes it smell so delicious? It mixes guava, mango, pineapple, lily of the valley, monoi de Tahiti, vanilla, and musk for the perfect shower concoction (sounds very similar to that nice, cool drink I like to order each summer, no?)  Read more
