Suave Moroccan Argan Styling Oil Review

suave-moroccan-argan-styling-oilMoroccan Oil is all the rage for the benefits of argan oil on both skin and hair. Suave’s Moroccan Infusion line of hair care products aim to deliver incredible shine, softness and conditioning to your hair. I had the opportunity to try the new Moroccan Argan Styling Oil from the Moroccan Infusion line. Typically I’m nervous to put any oil in my hair for fear of weightiness and making my hair too greasy, but Suave’s Moroccan Argan Styling Oil was the perfect hair treatment.

There are three ways you can use this oil in your hair:

1. Prior to showering. Just apply a few pumps of the oil to your hands and then smooth throughout your hair. Leave on for 5 minutes, rinse and shampoo and condition as you normally would. This helps create an incredible shine to your hair. Read more

Tibolli Desired Hair Oil Review

Shiny, smooth, sleek, frizz and flyaway-free hair…who wouldn’t want that?

I know this is something I always strive for and more often than not, struggle with.  I have naturally very curly hair and whenever I choose to blow dry it, I know I will be in for a bit of a hair battle.  Whenever I do find a product that prevents fizz and flyaway it has a bad habit of weighing my hair down and leave it feeling and looking greasy.  On the other hand the products that add shine tend not to do that good of a job taming fly-aways and preventing frizz. At times I have combined the greasy products with the too lightweight products to find a happy medium, but I am not a fan of having more than one hair product in my hair at a time.  A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to find my happy hair medium when I was given the opportunity to try Tibolli Desired Hair OilRead more

Review: ArganMagic Bath and Body Products

There’s nothing that inspires exultation during bath time more than the thought of trying out new bath and body products for the first time.  There’s always so much hope that this will be the product/line of products that will give you your “dream skin.”  At least this was my mind-state right before trying some of ArganMagic‘s bath and body products.  I was even more excited  because the name has the word “magic” in it, needless to say I went in with very high expectations and I was not disappointed.

I started off my in shower spa session with the Zesty Orange Body Scrub.  The scrub ad a mild orange scent that was not at all overpowering and it exfoliated my skin as promised…gently.  After I rinsed off the scrub, my skin felt instantly smoother and softer; not like it had been buffed over with an electric sander.

Next up, the Bloomin Body Wash.  This  product is described as a “gentle soap-free cleanser” and it most definitely is! Once applied to my skin it transformed into a very subtle, but creamy lather, so creamy in fact that I didn’t feel like I need to moisturize after I stepped out of the shower…but I was on  a roll.  I was enjoying the experience so much I decided to put some music on while I moisturized with the Multi-Purpose Treatment Oil, it had “magically…ArganMagically” become a shower/spa party (ok maybe the ArganMagically was a bit much, but I was having fun with the products.)  The Multi-Purpose Treatment Oil was rapidly absorbed by my skin without leaving an oily residue, my skin felt so smooth and soft I chased my boyfriend around the house demanding that he feel my skin…someone had to witness the magnificence and he was the only one around. I’m sure interrupting whatever he was working on was worth feeling pure silk (yes a bold statement but it really did feel that good.)  Read more

Review: Kaeline Argabaume Levres

kissable_lipsIf there is any one day in a calendar year that soft kissable lips are the most important, it would be Valentine’s Day. This winter has been brutal on the skin and chapped lips everywhere have abound. If you’ve been reading A Girl’s Gotta Spa! long enough, you’ll know I am quite a fan of Kaeline Argatherapie. Argan Oil does wonders for the skin and replenishes the hydration your lips need to be kissably soft. Their newest lip balm, Argabaume Levres, not only provides nourishment via Argan Oil, but also shea butter and beeswax.
