Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum Review #InstantRetouchwithSuddenChange #Sponsored

Getting older has its perks... and its pitfalls. Wrinkles under my eyes being one of those pitfalls. I don't mind getting older, but I don't need my face to always be a walking billboard for it. Enter Sudden Change Under-Eye Firming Serum. I've seen this product in countless commercials, but Read more

bareMinerals bareSkin Foundation Review

@bareminerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation #review #beauty #makeup

The bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation appears to be a love it or hate it type of product. I’ve been using it as my only foundation for a few months now and there are some definite pros and cons. But are the cons enough to make me ditch it? I’m undecided until I see how it functions when my skin changes due to the elements of winter.

In total transparency, I have never used a foundation from bareMinerals before, so I can’t really compare this to the coverage their other foundations provide. However, since it is a liquid foundation, I’ve used plenty of those like LORAC’s POREfection Foundation and Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Foundation, so I know what I’m looking for in comparison. Review: bareMinerals Remix January 2013 Collection

BareMinerals launches the new Remix Collection this month and to me it has a very 80’s vibe. That could be due to the blues in The Wild Thing eye shadow quad or the new Aqua Blast mascara! Oh goodness I remember blue mascara but not in a good way so I was quite skeptical at this turquoise looking tube. The entire collection 11-pc. collection is presented in limited edition aqua metallic packaging.  Read more

bareMinerals Color Correcting Concealer SPF 20 Review

A few weeks ago I told you about a fabulous new eye balm by Kiehl’s—Rosa Arctica Eye Balm (you HAVE to try it). I also told you that mixing the balm with a concealer gets maximum results. My concealer of choice for the past three to four weeks has been bareMinerals SPF 20 Correcting Concealer ($20).

This concealer will definitely make my “best of” list for 2012. It is a superb enigma—rich but lightweight, creamy but gives full coverage. No matter what you’ve got to hide, bareMinerals SPF 20 Correcting Concealer has you covered.

The multi-tasking formula contains:   Read more

bareMinerals Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener Review

bareminerals Well Rested #review #makeup
bareMinerals Well Rested Face Powder is one of the most iconic makeup products in history and women have been raving about it for decades. Now it comes in a liquid form–bareMinerals Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener ($22). This is excellent news for us over 40 women who prefer a liquid that won’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.

The two products are very different though. Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener is a  lightweight luminizer for use under eyes in a new cream formulation. A few weeks ago I told you about the tinted version of this, Stroke Of  Light. Well Rested is a pearly white shade with a brush applicator versus the Stroke of Light doe foot.  It has light reflecting minerals to even and enhance skin tone while visibly minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. It is suppose to “instantly brighten and revive a lackluster complexion for a fresh-faced, youthful-looking glow.”  Read more
