Boots Botantics Luxurious Bath Elixir

This has been a particularly grey and rainy winter in San Francisco, so I’ve been enjoying more than average soaks in the tub. One of the most luxurious features of our cozy Victorian home is the pedestal soaking tub. It is the perfect length and depth for renewing, relaxing and melting the chills of winter away. To supplement these bath soaks I am always on the look out for a lovely smelling ultra bubbly bath foam. Review: Four Truffles Body Butter and Body Smoother

four_truffles_body_smootherHey everyone, Brittany here. Shannon asked me to begin doing some of my beauty product reviews by video, so here is my inaugural video for A Girl’s Gotta Spa! I kind of got carried away saying “it smells awesome” a lot in this video, but you’ll forgive me, right?

This bath & body review is for Four Truffles. They sent over their Tangerine Lavender Body Butter in their signature keepsake handmade truffle jar and Earth Apple Body Smoother sugar scrub. The Tangerine Lavender scent was pure heaven! Interestingly, the Earth Apple scent smelled like a fruity coconut fragrance to me–but I still loved it!

When first trying the Ola Hawaiian lotions and salt scrubs, I was quite skeptical as to the ingredients and if they would be too greasy for my skin. Still being a teenager, I end up getting the really flaky dry skin, yet oily at the same time (why me!?) But when I tried a sample of the Sandalwood Verbena lotion on my hands, they felt wonderful.
