I love the colder months, but they don’t always love my skin. From around November to February (April if I happen to be in Minnesota), my skin gets dry, irritated, itchy and flaky. I also love using scents that are more holiday inspired during this time, so anything that has a chocolaty, vanilla type scent is much desired. There are dozens of other ways quinoa can also be used, I personally am looking forward to using it for baking , for making a vegan quinoa burger and since the holiday season is upon us I am thinking of ways to incorporate it into stuffing etc. Read more

method sent us their Designed for Good gel hand wash (which we always need plenty of in this house) complete with a mustache design and stickers. While the stickers were meant to be placed on the bottle, I felt it would be a good way to showcase my son’s personalities if they wore them and posed. They had fun and it gave me the opportunity to talk to them about the importance of seeing the doctor and preventative care (something I feel that most men ignore–so why not raise boys that understand the value from an early age?)
