#EyeHeartNY Twitter Party 4/24 #ad

This summer I'll be 40. Wrinkles and fine lines know their way around my face like a road map. I wish what I know now about anti-aging, I knew 20 years ago so that I could take better care of my skin. However, since I can't literally turn back Read more

Beauty Benefits of Lime

It may sound silly, but even though I don't drink, those Corona commercials snag my attention every time. Sounds of the ocean, the sense of relaxation and the refreshing lime placed perfectly in the bottle neck. It's that lime that calls out to me saying, "Let me quench your Read more

Tips to stay stress-free and glowing during the holidays! #beauty #health #wellness

One of those places is Stoweflake Spa and Wellness Center in Stowe, Vermont. Surinda Oberai Cavanagh, Spa Director and Ayurvedic Consultant at Stoweflake Spa and Wellness Center, offers A Girl’s Gotta Spa! readers these tips to stay stress free and glowing this holiday season.

5 Bath and Body Gift Ideas for Christmas

5 Bath & Body Gift Ideas for Bellashoot Bellas!

What I looked forward to most as a child at Christmas wasn’t necessarily about what was under the tree, but instead what bath and body products would be found in my Christmas stocking. This became even more important as a teenager because I knew my girlfriends and I would be discussing who got which scent and would be wearing it religiously. Can you relate?

So if you have a bath and body addict on your list this year, here are some of our recommendations for our Bellashoot Bellas as to what may bring the sparkle to their eyes and glow to their skin: Read more

Votre Vu Holiday Makeup How To

Votre Vu Holiday Makeup How To

This season Votre Vu has put together a breathtaking holiday gift set titled, “Oh come let us adorn yeux.” It is a creatively accurate name to describe this set, which is sure to please any lady who loves quality makeup and a little accessorizing.

The gift set arrives to the door in a bold red box with a stylish thick pearl colored ribbon. Upon opening the box the gift receiver will likely feel like a little girl who won’t know which shiny new toy to grab for first! As the box is filled with a professional dual sided silver makeup brush (tried and LOVE, esp for definition), a vintage looking pearl and crystal cluster kilt pin that can be worn anytime of year, and then TWO limited edition Palette Play eye shadows in Heirloom Silver and Champagne Gold, which both come in their own golden pouch. I really was “oooohing and ahhhhing.” These two colors can be worn on their own, in combination, or as added accents with other shadow colors. Read more

mark Fab 5 Eye Shadow Palette

mark. fab 5 review

I always feel like the conclusion of the Thanksgiving holiday is congruent with the sound of a gunshot for the 100-meter dash until the Christmas and New Year holidays. I’d usually include Hanukkah in that statement too, but as many of you know this year it began Nov 27th and ends Dec 5th, so I guess my Jewish friends and families shopping alarms went off even earlier this year. At any rate, we will all be attending the various business parties, gatherings, and hopefully at least one night out on the town over the next month til we hit the celebratory wall on Jan. 2, 2014. Deborah Lippmann Gets Festive with Holiday Glitter Polishes

As a nail polish addict, I’m a big fan of Deborah Lippmann – and I’m not alone! Deborah’s trend-making lacquers are always the “it” shades on every runway, cover shoot and red carpet, and if her lacquers are good enough for the finicky celebrities she’s turned into diehard fans, they’re good enough for me!

And Deborah doesn’t let any special occasion pass by without commemorating with some festive specialty shades! Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, the glitter-loving nail expert has created two gorgeous glitzy polishes – Shake Your Groove Thang (a glittering gold) and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? (a gorgeous shimmering red) – perfect for jazzing up your holiday party look! Wear alone in multiple layers for an all-over chunky glitter look, or layer over coordinating or contrasting shades to serve as a gorgeously festive topcoat! They make great little stocking stuffers for the nail polish addict on your list… but don’t forget to stock up for yourself in time for all your pre-Christmas cocktail parties!
