Verb Detangle+Defrizz Conditioning Leave-In Mist Review

To be completely up front about things, I hate washing my hair because it's a nightmare to comb afterwards.  It’s much like that of a 6 year old little girl. It tangles like nobody’s business and is a nightmare to comb after washing. It’s so bad that my hairdresser Read more

Marc Anthony 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo Review

Whether you’re pressed for time, want to keep color looking fresh or just don’t want or need to shampoo your hair every day, you will want to check out this dry shampoo. Believe me, we’ve come a long way baby from the days of Psssst in the 1970′s. I am a believer in washing your hair every other day (unless you have very oily hair) to keep it conditioned and healthy. Marc Anthony makes a wonderful dry shampoo called 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo ($7-8).

Marc Anthony is a brand that never fails me and is my go-to drugstore brand. I use the Oil of Morocco Argan Oil products religiously and have also tried the Beach Waves Collection and the Instantly Thick Collection all with great success so when I heard the brand had a dry shampoo, I was very anxious to try it.

There are a few things that make 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo a little different. First it is clear so no more white residue. This is especially  thrilling to those with dark hair and those of us like me who are showing signs of gray. Second, it was developed with Nanotechnology and Zeolite, a micro-porous mineral, to cleanse hair without a chalky residue or gritty feeling. The extra absorbent formula lets you remove excess oil, eliminate odor and add volume. It is perfect for all hair types and keeps your  hair fresh between washes. What I like most is that it isn’t too powdery, so many dry shampoos make my hair feel dirty and sticky, but this actually makes it feel fresh!  Read more
