Balanced Guru Organic Spiced Up Berries Antioxidant Facial Masque

Balanced Guru Spriced Berry Masque #Review

Being more conscious about what I am putting on my skin is something that I have been striving towards for the past few years.  I love beauty products and adore pampering my skin, but I also want to ensure that I am actually doing my skin more good than harm by using products that are as natural as possible, effective and that do not contain ingredients that are detrimental to the health of my skin.

Finding skin care products that are actually good to and for my skin is easier said than done, so you can only imagine my jubilation when I recently found a product by Balanced Guru that is  made with certified organic food-graded ingredients that are safe enough to eat and extremely rich in nutrients, anti-oxidants and vitamins. Clean Refreshed Summer Skin with Pangea Organics Facial Toner

pangea-organics-facial-tonerMemorial Day means that summer is pretty much upon us and one of the products that I like to incorporate in my summer beauty routine is a facial toner.  During the summer months my skin tends to get a lot more oily and spending a lot of times outdoors means my skin comes in contact with a lot more dirt than it does during the cooler months so I feel like for me a facial toner is essential during summer. I also like to have one stored in my refrigerator for whenever I need a refreshing spritz during the day especially on those unbearably hot summer days.

During this summer, my facial toner of choice will be Pangea Organics Facial Toner Italian Green Mandarin With Sweet LimePangea Organics has lately become one of my favorite eco-centric skincare lines with products that are nurturing, handcrafted and organic and never contain petroleum, sulfates or detergents, synthetic preservatives, artificial colors or fragrances or GMO’s.  The Pangea Organics Facial Toner Italian Mandarin With Sweet Lime is recommended for normal to combination skin, which I possess and in addition to cleaning, refreshing, hydrating and refining the skin it also soothes, which is great for me because in the summer my skin has a tendency to become really angry and freak out in the forms of blemishes and pimples. The Perfect Body Scrub: Sabon Patchouli Lavender

I don’t want to jinx it, but it seems like springtime is here to stay…and with warmer temps come leg-baring skirts and shorts! For those of you who might have neglected your skin during the winter, now is the time to focus your energies on getting your stems silky-smooth again!

We all know moisturization is key, but slathering on lotion does nothing if it’s sitting atop dead skin cells –the only way to rid your skin of impurities is to exfoliate. Now, I’ve been around the block when it comes to exfoliants, and I can say without a moment’s hesitation that my all-time favorite scrub is by Sabon, a luxury bath and body fragrance brand.

While doing my Christmas shopping months ago in Bryant Park, a Sabon employee convinced me (with a notable amount of zeal) to try out their body scrubs.  I was pretty hesitant at first, but I was completely blown away by the product. Made with dead sea salt and various nut oils the tiniest amount used two times a week will leave your skin silky smooth and completely moisturized.  Because I was Christmas shopping, I made an oath to myself that I wouldn’t purchase anything for personal use…but since I loved the scrub so much, I bought it for my roommate.  Read more
