A Girl’s Gotta Spa!® was founded on the principal that we all need a little pampering.
As I mentioned in this 2011 interview in SHAPE Magazine, “I created A Girl’s Gotta Spa! as an outlet for myself and as a way to say it’s OK to take time for yourself no matter how busy you are—in fact, it’s imperative.” Relaxing, decompressing from stressors, taking time to feel good about yourself…they are all equally important for your mental health, not to mention your overall health.

There are a few different ways in which the oil can be applied but my favorite is rubbing a few drops in my palms, then rubbing them together to warm and release the vapors and taking in a few deep breaths while cupping my palms over my nose. After doing this for about a minute, I become noticeably more calm and focused and a lot less anxious. I also love putting a few drops of the Dreaming Oil in my bath water, I definitely go to bed in a more relaxed state. Read more
