Earlier this month, I attended the Royal & Langnickel launch of a new makeup brush collection designed by award-winning makeup artist Kevin James Bennett. The [R]evolution Brush Collection, a set of 32 precision tools designed with cutting-edge technology, promises to deliver top results time after time.
I had a moment to speak with Kevin, and I asked what one item from the collection he would choose as his absolute favorite. Considering the fact that each piece in the collection has it’s own fabulous purpose, it’s a slightly difficult question to answer. Kevin gave me his top two choices for eye makeup application: the Flat Eye Fluff (BX70) and the Crease Brush (BX90).
Why? Simply put, both brushes need to be in your makeup bag – the flat eye fluff is ideal for applying a quick wash of color, and the pointed foundation brush allows for flawlessly blending shadow into creases. When the two brushes are paired with complimentary eye shadows, you’ve got yourself a killer look. What’s nice about the collection is that the synthetic bristles won’t ever lose their shape, so you can wash your tools without worry that they’ll never be the same.
Other highlights from the event included free brush demos and chic artwork painted with Royal & Langnickel brush products!
