I’ll be honest, I’ve stayed away from liquid foundation for a long time.
Typically combination skin doesn’t play nice with this type of foundation. From the oily t-zone to the drier patches towards the outer part of my face, I’ve always felt that liquid foundation basically put a magnifying glass on these problem areas. However, I also now have to combat aging skin and the powder foundations I was using have begun to make wrinkles and fine lines more pronounced. Not fun!
LORAC’s new POREfection Foundation is a SPF 20 medium-to-full coverage makeup that offers countless benefits such as anti-aging antioxidants (Vitamins A & E, Olive Leaf Extract, Lemon Extract and Papaya Extract) which help to smooth, nourish and rejuvenate skin. A foundation that protects like a sunscreen and nourishes skin like a moisturizer? Yes, please.
I love that POREfection is oil free, yet effortlessly glides over skin to give the perfect amount of coverage. The best part for me was that it perfectly matched my skin tone. No orange face or line at the chin for me. Honestly, when I say my skin is a mix of light and medium, that usually requires combining two products to produce the right color. LORAC actually has “Light Medium” as a foundation color and it disappeared into my skin making it seem like my skin was normally flawless. (I actually did a happy dance after putting it on because my skin is so NOT flawless ever.)
POREfection Foundation didn’t feel cakey or slick on my skin and worked great both day and night without being touched up. I’m excited to finally have found a liquid foundation that looks great on my almost-40 skin. Anything to make me look (and feel) younger! Have you tried it?
