While it’s true that you should grow old gracefully, sometimes I can’t help but cheat a little when it comes to minimizing the appearance of lines and wrinkles on my face.
I won’t ever get Botox or any other injections, but I am not adverse to using a topical treatment. Especially if it is one that is natural.
Amala’s Rejuvenate Targeted Wrinkle Treatment ($116) is plant-based, using only whole plant botanicals to treat and minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles on your face. While the tube may be small, this wrinkle treatment is potent and packs a punch.
I love how the roller ball applicator aids in applying the treatment. The roller ball feels cold on your skin, which is great if used under your eye as the combination of the cold, as well as the gentle pressure help to reduce under eye puffiness and dark circles. While this may not be the intended use of this product, it is definitely a great bonus!
To get the most out of the Targeted Wrinkle Treatment, apply it in linear strokes three times over the area you wish to treat. Then use your pinky to gently pat the serum into the skin. I’m specific in saying the pinky, because this finger applies the least amount of pressure to the skin to avoid tugging, especially if you are applying it around your eye area such as on crow’s feet or under eye wrinkles. You’ll find that this product absorbs into skin easily, leaving no greasy residue behind. While I’m not typically a fan of fragrance in any product I am applying on my face, Amala’s is natural and smells amazing. (I wish their hand cream had this scent!)
Above all, as with any anti-aging skin care product, consistency is key! You should apply Targeted Wrinkle Treatment prior to moisturizer, daily. In about 4 weeks, you’ll notice a difference as the cocoa bean, acerola, acai, summer snowflake bulb and natural hyaluronic acid work their magic. Have you tried it?
