My love for chocolate is undeniable. While a moment on the lips may be a lifetime on the hips, chocolate applied to your face…years will erase.
I just made that part up myself.
Despite my mad skills for rhyming, the anti-aging properties of chocolate have been proven and are an effective way to attain a youthful look to your skin.
When I was at The Spa at The Hotel Hershey, I picked up some chocolate skin care products, one of which was Paris-based brand, Bernard Cassiere. I was intrigued by the Chocolate Mousse Mask, which smells and retains the appearance of its rich and decadent namesake. I literally could take a spoon to this mask and devour it. It’s fluffy and whipped to perfection, yet thick and creamy upon application. your nose will be filled with the scent of chocolate and you may daydream about eating a chocolate torte or trifle, but before you know it your 12 minutes are up and it’s time to rinse it off.
A brighter complexion will be revealed post-mask. With cocoa butter added to this mask, you’ll find that your skin is perfectly hydrated and soft, while the cocoa’s antioxidant polyphenols remove the stressed and tired look from your skin. I am so in love with this Chocolate Mousse Mask. I only use it once a week, but honestly feel so indulgent when I do. Simple indulgences like this are so good for keeping your stress levels low.
For now this review is a bit of a teaser, since I’m unaware of where you can purchase this mask other than in the boutique at The Spa at The Hotel Hershey. If you know where else it is available, be sure to leave a comment…if you’ve tried this mask, I’d love to hear about your experience, too!
