I rarely, if ever, purchase soap at the store. A plain, white, boring bar of soap? No thanks. I’ll spring the few extra dollars and shipping for artisan quality soap any day of the week. I’m all about pretty things, from bottles and jars, to the colorful look of handmade soaps.
For many that know me personally, I am a strong person of faith. So when I came across Faith, Soaps & Love, well, it was a match made in heaven. (Pun fully intended!)
The handmade soaps from Faith, Soaps & Love are packed with skin nourishing ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and essential oils. Before I even opened the package, I could smell their fragrance and it filled my office with their lovely scent. The Lavender soap ($6), comes in swirls of pink and purple and smells so divine. When not using it, I place it back in the clear plastic wrapping and place it in my office to fill it with its fragrance so that I can feel relaxed all day. The Midnight Pomegranate soap ($6), has a unique fragrance mixture of orange, cinnamon, vanilla and pomegranate. It is a sweet scent.
Each soap glides smoothly over your skin, while filling your shower with its fragrance. Even after rinsing the slight lather off your skin, a light scent remains. Be sure to keep the soap in a dry place to extend the life of the soap. Faith, Soaps & Love also sells soap nets ($4) to help prolong the life of your soap, but also when used, provides a gentle exfoliation.
