The first time I fell in love with Paper Face Masks was at Incheon International Airport. As a way to cure airport boredom I started perusing the cosmetics stores and was intrigued by one of the masks. I had no idea what the mask did as everything was in Korean, but I applied it to my face and let it sit there on my flight from Seoul to Dallas. My skin felt really hydrated after I landed…which was a miracle since my skin normally looks dull and dry after a long flight.
Since that mask I haven’t been able to find a paper face mask that I loved, or even liked, until very recently when I tried the Kaunis Facial Masks.
The Kaunis Facial Masks are phenomenal, they are just absolutely magical. I tried the Soothing Facial Mask first because at the time my skin was feeling and looking very irritated and it definitely needed a good amount of soothing. The mask is very easy to apply and I love that there is a lot of product on the mask. After leaving it on for about 20 minutes I could see and feel the difference. My skin felt soothed and looked glowing, hydrated, smooth and just downright fabulous. I actually did not need to use any moisturizer after removing the mask. As suggested by the mask directions, I applied any excess serum that was left over on my hands and neck…OK I went a bit nuts and even applied it to the tops of my feet and even my legs. I was really surprised and very pleased with how effective the mask was and how immediate the results were.
The Anti-Aging Face Mask was just as great as the Soothing Face Mask, my skin felt insanely smooth after using it. I love that the Kaunis Masks contain organic ingredients and are Leaping Bunny and Ecocert Certified. I am going to be stocking up on these because, not only do they perform magic on my skin, they are also super easy to travel with and are a must to use the night before a photo shoot. The packaging of these masks also make them perfect for gifting, some lucky girlfriends might just get the gift of amazing skin this holiday season!
