If you are a gal who tries to extend the life of a pedicure as long as possible, then you probably know the first thing that usually needs attention in between pedicures are your heels. I mean really, who has time to get pedicures weekly or even every other week?
Sometimes we need to wait longer than we’d like to make our feet pretty. For some reason, toe nail polish and shaping can last up for 4-5 weeks after a pedicure, but our heels start to get dry and look less than fabulous soon after a pedicure. In an attempt to keep my heels hydrated and keep my feet looking fab in between pedis, I tried NightCare Heel Treatment Kit.
In the kit you get:
-a pair of moisturizing gel heel socks (mine were leopard!)
-intensive healing foot cream
The kit is very easy to use and is extremely low maintenance. First, I applied some of the intensive healing foot cream and then pulled on the socks. The socks have a moisture zone gel heel, so the cream on your foot isn’t absorbed by the sock, it’s touching the gel heel and keeping the moisture where our feet need it most. The goal … eliminate dry, cracked heels. The cream is velvety and helps to nourish your feet with beneficial vitamins A, D, & E. It is also said to be great for softening calluses too. (I don’t have any, so I can’t speak to that.) One thing is for sure, my feet were definitely soft after using the kit!
When you’re done, just hand wash the socks in warm soapy water. You could wear this overnight, but I prefer to sleep barefoot, so I wore them for a few hours before bed each night and then took them off. For $25, I’d say this is a great way to help maintain a pretty well manicured foot in between pedicures.
