I love experimenting with hair color, whether it be a one step color, Balayage or highlights, for me experimenting with my hair color is a lot less scary than trying a brand new haircut. After all, if the color comes out terrible it can always be fixed without having to wait months or even a year for my hair to grow out.
For me the only negative of coloring my hair is the damage that hair color can do to the health of my hair. Which is where a conditioner that is protecting, really moisturizing, nourishing and formulated specifically for color treated hair comes in very handy. Surya Brasil Color Fixation Restorative Conditioner is amazing on my highlighted hair. The Color Fixation Restorative Conditioner is a super thick and creamy intensive treatment that contains nourishing Amazonian botanicals and plant based proteins along with natural oils and nut butters that protect hair from sun damage while restoring strength and luster and replenishing natural shine.
The consistency of the Restorative Conditioner is more like a body butter than most conditioners I’ve ever tried, which my hair loved. My thirsty, dry hair felt immediately coated in moisture and after rinsing the conditioner out I could feel the difference in my hair. After drying my hair it had great shine and didn’t feel like it was going to snap every time I brushed it. I was also able to get a brush through my hair without it snagging on the usual split ends.
As with all Surya Brasil products, the Color Fixation Restorative Conditioner contains no sodium lauryl sulfate, artificial coloring, fragrance, parabens, mineral oils, GMO’s and is gluten free. I’ve just recently leraned that Surya Brasil actually has an entire line of hair care for color treated hair and I will unquestionably be trying the Hair Mask and Restorative Serum!
Have you tried it?
