I have been using Inglot’s Makeup remover almost exclusively for over a year now. It is very reasonably priced and does an excellent job of removing liner and mascara which is my #1 issue with most removers. I am fortunate to have Inglot reasonably local to me.
Eye makeup remover is a product where I would prefer to NOT blow my budget. I’ll save that for foundation and lipsticks! I purchased this remover half out of necessity, half out of “I want to buy something NOW”. I knew I was running low on my Inglot remover and buried somewhere in my brain was a reminder to pick up a bottle or two the next time I was at the mall. But each time I hit up the mall, I forgot about it. So I was shopping Sephora at the mall closest to me recently and really wanted to buy SOMETHING! There was nothing I felt I had to have, nothing really caught my attention, but then I spotted Urban Decay’s Melt Down Makeup Remover and remembered I never did pick up the Inglot remover. This looked interesting as it was a creamy remover, whereas the Inglot is more of an oil-based, silicone-y liquid remover. I felt it was reasonably priced at $24 for 2.5 ounces so I decided I needed it.
Do I like this more than my favorite Inglot remover? I would have to say I like it just about as much. To use, I squeeze out a dollop about the size of half of a grape. I massage half into one eye, half into the other. I then use a cotton ball to remove. If there is any left over, I squeeze out a small amount onto the tip of a q-tip for the detailed work around my eyes.
This remover is non-scented, not irritating (a HUGE plus for me) and non-greasy. Sometimes with the Inglot remover I have to do a bit of extra work to remove the residue, but not with this one. I like that I have another favorite that I can pick up at Ulta also, which is close to me.
If you’re looking for a non-greasy eye makeup remover that does the job on heavy duty mascara and liner, I would suggest giving Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover a look. Have you tried it?
