Prince Charcoal Mask Review - A Girl's Gotta Spa!

Prince Charcoal Mask Review

If you have oily to combination skin, then this kaolin, charcoal mask from Fleur & Bee is for you.

Kaolin clay has been a lifesaver for my skin for years. It's a gentle clay that targets excess sebum and whisks it away. The oiliness of my T-zone has greatly diminished once I discovered it.

Add in activated charcoal (made from burning coconut shells), and you can basically count on any blemishes diminishing and preventing them in the future. Well... as long as your diet is good, since what you eat has an effect on blemishes, as well.

Prince Charcoal from Fleur & Bee

This is a rich, naturally scented face mask. I couldn't put my finger on the fragrance - but out the gate I'd describe it as a soft, sweet, floral aroma.

Looking at the ingredients, that's about right. There's a long ingredient list, which includes honeysuckle, ylang ylang, lavender, and rose hip. There's fruits, too - apple, lemon, and orange.

The texture is thick and creamy and spreads easily on the skin. I left it on for about 10 minutes after cleansing my skin. It didn't dry up and crack, like a few kaolin masks I've used before, so my skin did not feel tight or irritated.

After rinsing it off, my skin felt super soft and looked more balanced. Your face may be red after use, although mine wasn't.

A Detox Mask with Clean Ingredients

Fleur & Bee is a cruelty free brand. I love that the ingredients in this charcoal mask are clean, natural and plant-based. It's basically worry-free.

Aloe, green tea, reishi mushroom - I've never used such an amazing mask so chock full nourishing ingredients.

This mask is a keeper and I'll be ordering one once this jar runs out.

Prince Charcoal is $18 for 2oz and can be found at www.fleurandbee.com.
